I am a Registered Dental Hygienist in her mid-40s
with a stellar resume & 26 years of experience in both general & periodontal
offices.
My goal is to work
interdependently with other dental professionals to provide
preventive and therapeutic procedures that promote and maintain oral
health, as well as prevent and control disease.
I love my profession. I enjoy my
patients, clean my own trays and instruments, take my own x-rays and
know how to help out the assistants and the front desk. I’m truly a
team player.
I am certified in radiation
safety, local anesthesia, nitrous oxide sedation, and soft tissue
curettage. I have experience with traditional, panoramic & digital
radiography, intraoral cameras, the diagnodent, placement of Pit &
Fissure Sealants & Arestin & Laser Therapy.
I have over 6 years of experience
using The Denrtix Dental System and a solid background implementing various soft
tissue management programs including JP Consulting. I have worked in
some of the top periodontal and high-end cosmetic offices in San Diego.
My priority is to improve oral
health care in my patients. I educate them thoroughly so they
understand and commit to treatment. I am very knowledgeable
about dental aid products that enhance home care therapy. I have
a proven track record in promoting various products and services
ranging from Soft Tissue Management programs through to Electric Toothbrushes, Fluoride,
etc.
I have also been involved in
marketing practices that achieve fabulous results for patients
referring patients. Many times, the best referral base is the
existing patients singing your praises to family, co-workers and
friends.
I am extremely reliable, a quick
learner and have a strong desire to continually improve and advance
my professional skills. I am a self-starter and highly motivated to
stay on top of the latest advancements in dental technologies
including classes in soft-tissue laser therapy.
